Imagen - Frequently Asked Questions
When playing an animated GIF in Imagen the animation looks different than in my web browser.
Imagen is not a GIF player so it doesn't respect duration of each frame. Instead, it calculates the average frame rate and then plays the animation at constant frame rate.
Can your player display video fullscreen?
No, you can only maximize the window. If the option "Stretch small images" is checked the image will be resized to fit the new size of the player.
Sometimes when I play a file the player stops responding and I can't even click STOP. What's going on?
This happens when images are uncompressed or losslessly compressed and occupy lots of disk space so that decoding speed exceeds the abilities of your computer. The solution is either getting a faster disk and CPU or compressing your files to AVI, MPEG or other format that supports lossy compression. This kind of compression decreases the image quality but also decreases the file size and required data rate.
