Open the captured videos
Click the Open Files button.

Select one or more files
Navigate to the folder where your videos are.
To select multiple files use Shift + Mouse
or Ctrl + Mouse click.
Finally, click the Open button.

Add the Resize function from the menu
Click Video Effects => Adjust Size => Resize
to add the Resize function.
We'll change video resolution to one of the standard YouTube sizes.

Change video resolution
Enter new width and height. After changing
Width to 640 pixels, the
Height should automatically change to 360.
Click OK to close the dialog.
If it happens that entering 640 changes the height to a
different value than 360, that means original video
proportions weren't 16:9.
In that case uncheck
Use fixed aspect ratio of
so you can enter any width and height. See below how
we added Crop to adjust original video to 16:9 before resizing.

Size changed
The picture is now resized to 640x360.
You may also notice the Crop filter, which wasn't
mentioned before. That's because you won't need cropping
if you own a 16:9 monitor. Your videos will already
be captured in one of the 16:9 resolutions.
We used a 16:10 widescreen monitor, which has more
vertical lines than a 16:9 monitor.
Using Crop we reduced it to 16:9 proportions.
Crop has to be applied before Resize.

Add a custom logo
Click Video Effects => Overlay => Video Overlay.
We'll add a logo we previously created in a paint program.

Choose the logo file
In the Video Overlay dialog click the
Choose File
button to open a picture.

Open the picture
Pick the file you want to insert.
Our was saved as 32-bit PNG because it contains transparent
and semi-transparent parts. JPG does not support transparency.

Position the logo
Click inside the preview panel to place the logo.
Click OK to close the dialog.

You should now see the logo in the second preview panel.

Add some text
We'll add a few comments to the video. Click Video Effects => Overlay => Text Overlay.

Enter and position the text
Optionally choose font style and size, then
enter the text in the edit box.
To position text click inside the preview panel,
or enter coordinates manually.
Click OK to close the dialog.

Text timing - Move to the first picture
In the main window move the preview slider to the first picture where
you want the text to appear. You can use the mouse or keyboard arrows.

Text timing - Set in point
To make text appear from this picture, right-click on the Text function
you just added, then choose
Set In Point.
You can do this with other filters and functions as well.

Text timing - Move to the last picture
Move the slider to the last picture (after which the text should disappear).
You can use the mouse or keyboard arrows.

To make the text end on this picture, right-click the Text function
again and choose
Set Out Point.

We have added a comment, positioned it and adjusted its timing.
To add more comments, add a Text Overlay for each of them,

Click the floppy disk button (or File => Save As).
