Temporal Average sums all the pictures and calculates their
average over the time. The output of this function is just one picture, without
sound. Use this tool to:
- Remove noise from videos taken during night. A surveillance camera
may take a 10 second video full of noise, where you can hardly
see even a car that is parked in front of it. After removing the noise using
Temporal Average you can usually read even the car's license
plates.
- To turn a short video into a long-exposure photo, with fast
moving objects almost completely disappearing, slow moving
objects leaving a long trail, and static objects in
crystal-clear quality.
Note: For best results the input video (or image sequence)
should contain at least 200 pictures.
